Review Video Youtube

Hello everyone, this time I will review a video youtube titled, "Just found out! It turns out that Indonesian is similar in language to the Brazilian (Portuguese)" by Ceu Entin. In this video there are a lot of Indonesian similarities with Portuguese, surely you don't know what the similarities are? Let's see how they are similar.
Code switching is a transition by using language with more than one language that is adapted to changing situations and roles. In this video, the native speaker (originating from Indonesia) and the speaker (originating from Portuguese) use English because it adjusts to the conditions there and in general there uses English. Because in that way, will understand each other with the topic being discussed.
Bilingualism is the ability to use 2 languages in one native speaker. In this video, he does not use his mother tongue in speaking to the speaker, because if he uses his mother tongue to the speaker, the speaker will find it difficult to understand. Native speaker here he uses English, which is the second language that he must master so that the speaker can understand too.
The native speaker and speaker will mention the meaning of English with the word that comes from the country. There are so many different pronounciation but the sentence is different between Indonesian and Portuguese, examples are in several words such as:

Portugis (Brazil)
Ink
Tinta
Tinta
Cheese
Keju
Queijo
Shoes
Sepatu
Sapato
Butter
Mentega
Manteiga
Flag
Bendera
Bandeira

In conclusion, there are many words that have the same meaning in their pronunciation, even though the formation of words has differences in one country from another. And hopefully you can increase your knowledge, guys, thank you!

Because in the first International Journal the researchers wanted to improve the skills of their students in writing narratives using role playing techniques in EFL classes in Iran. They divided 2 groups in the class, the first group assigned to read the stories loudly and loudly. Then, in the second international the researchers conducted a study to improve the skills of their students in writing by writing on a blog so that their assignments could be completed.

The researchers have 3 steps in this procedure. First, in the fall before the second semester of 2014 they were given time to fill out the background questionnaire. Second, the participants were given instructions in writing for 4 weeks in detail. Then, the control group is given the task of writing using traditional pens and paper. and the experimental group wrote using a blog. Finally, if the results of the post-test and pre-test have the same score, both will be compared at the end of the semester.

Data analysis
The researchers analyzed the data using SPSS. Reliability data and overall reliability tests will be calculated in Cronbach's Alpha. The results of the data show a high positive level. Then, all scores are totaled and the sample test that has been produced will be compared with the experimental group and the control group.

Journal Review "Research"

Hello everyone! this time I will continue the previous review Journal International, and now I will discuss about the "Research".

Research

Are there changes to the EFL class playing roles in narrative writing? According to what they have researched, role playing in the classroom tells the story of narrative writing of young Iranian EFL students there is no superior difference between the two. According to statistics, the control and experimental groups showed the same score. But in subsequent studies, they used Multivariate Variance Analysis (MANOVA) to assess the Posttest among the 2 groups. Then, the average score of the experimental group posttest got the highest score compared to the control group. However, because the number of participants was less than 100 students, then they used the Shapiro-Wilk test. And finally the results also show that the score is normal.
Then, for the next step they need to confirm again in the variable values between subjects, the intercorrelation pattern between the levels in the subject variables is the same. And the results show there is a change in the EFL class in writing the posttest narrative. Then, after they examined it again, the value of the experimental group showed that it was more superior when compared to the control group.

Journal Review "Method"

Hello Everyone! in this section I will continue to review my journal last week, and now I will review the "method" in this journal. let's go to read!

Method

In the study, there were 47 EFL participants in Taheran who were around 9-16 years old. The members included in this study amounted to 4 or 5 classes, consisting of one male class and two female classes. Students are selected based on randomly grouped into experimental groups, consisting of 12 boys and 13 girls. And the control group consisted of two other classes namely 13 men and 9 women.

With the Georgia Department of Education rubric (GADOE), researchers can assess students in the post-test and pre-test. Rubric GADOE is a tool that can obtain analytic scores about student learning outcomes, rubrics help assessors provide articulated expectations and scales to measure achievement and well-built rubrics providing a common language that explains expectations, benefits teachers and students (Miller, 2010 ) In accordance with what has been explained, that GAOE is very petrific for teachers in assessing students in analyzing their abilities in writing such as ideas, styles, conventions. And hope that it can help improve the students and teachers.

Thank you!

Journal Review "Literature Review"

Hello everyone! I will explain the international journal review that I have previously discussed, before I have just discussed the introduction. Now, I will discuss the litterature review. The tittle journal is “Role Playing in Storytelling Classes and Its Impact on Iranian Young EFL Learners’ Narrative Writing” written by Mojgan Rashtchi and Mosayeb Moradzadeh at TEFL Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Islamic Azad University, North Tehran Branch.

Litterature Review

Narrative is a text that tells about an information that contains emotions or ideas from someone. Narrative writing is writing stories that are real or fictional, and tell about a person's personal experience, or an event. Narrative writing skills are not easy for young EFL classes in Iran, because they do not know where to start and how to understand these materials. After they examined it, it turned out that with them using task-based activities in the EFL class, EFL students in Iran had a positive impact compared to teaching using traditional approaches. The positive impact obtained is that there is an increase in narrative writing in the EFL class. as stated by the study, that the role playing techniques in EFL class have a very good impact because with that, EFL students are progressing in terms of writing narratives. The theory used in this case is constructivism, because they can experience improvements based on the environment that can hone the knowledge of EFL students.
Role playing techniques use a system that can support EFL students, such as body movements. So that they can develop their knowledge and will also grow their growth in a healthy manner. There are 2 types of learning, namely active and passive learning. The strategy of playing roles in the EFL class is very effective because, participants educated EFL can be what they want like captains, rich people or others. And this strategy can increase their English vocabulary when compared to other strategies. Not only vocabulary can increase, but their self-confidence, spoken in foreign languages, student empathy, and also their thinking becomes more critical. There are also other reasons, in teaching narrative writing using role play through short stories can be related to implicit learning. Implicit learning is defined by learning without an awareness or ability that is not realized by someone. This implicit learning, makes students more difficult in understanding a text by structuring structurally without the knowledge they have.
The conclusion is, based on what has been done by the researchers, the use of roles in EFL storytelling classes in Iran does not have a clear difference between using narrative writing role playing techniques in Iranian EFL classes and those who read short stories in the classroom in a loud voice .

Thank you, and enjoyed !
